Recipes Bacon Bloody Mary with a Waffle Grilled Cheese
This bold brunch recipe combines smoky bacon-infused vodka with a classic Bloody Mary mix. Topped with a savory waffle grilled cheese skewer stacked with Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon, Canadian Bacon, and Sausage Patties, this flavorful twist is sure to impress.

Bacon Bloody Mary with a Waffle Grilled Cheese
Servings 210-15 minutes
- 1 package (340 g) Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon
- 480 ml vodka
- 720 ml tomato juice
- Juice of 2 limes
- 60 ml pickle juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp celery powder
- 2 tsp steak seasoning
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp hot sauce
- 6 small waffles or 6 portions of large waffle
- 5 slices Monterey Jack cheese, halved
- 4 slices Jones Canadian Bacon
- 4 Jones All Natural Golden Brown Sausage Patties
- Long wooden or metal skewers as needed
For the Bacon-Infused Vodka

- 1Preheat oven to 175°C.
- 2Place bacon on foil-lined tray and bake for 15–20 minutes until cooked but not too crispy.
- 3Transfer bacon and fat into a large mason jar. Add vodka and seal.
- 4Infuse in the fridge for at least 5 days before use.
For the Bloody Mary Mix

- 5Blend all mix ingredients until smooth.
To Make the Bloody Mary

- 6Fill two glasses with ice.
- 7Add 60 ml vodka and 120–180 ml Bloody Mary mix to each glass.
- 8Stir and adjust lime juice to taste.
For the Waffle Grilled Cheese Topper
- 9Preheat oven to 175°C.
- 10Place waffles on tray and top each with half a cheese slice.
- 11On two waffles, add 2 slices of Canadian Bacon and another cheese half.
- 11On two more waffles, add 2 sausage patties and the remaining cheese.
- 11Bake for 5–8 minutes until cheese is melted.
- 11Assemble sandwiches: bacon waffle + sausage waffle + cheese waffle.
- 11Skewer and place on top of Bloody Mary. Serve immediately.
