Recipes Canadian Bacon Fresh Spring Rolls – 3 flavors, 3 sauces

Canadian Bacon Fresh Spring Rolls – 3 flavors, 3 sauces

Canadian Bacon, Bean Sprout and Cucumber
- 6 slices Jones Dairy Farm Canadian Bacon
- 3 rice paper
- 100g bean sprout
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 cucumber, julienne cut
- 1/3 carrot, julienne cut
- 1 sprig of cilantro
Canadian Bacon, Avocado, Egg and Lemon
- 6 slices Jones Dairy Farm Canadian Bacon
- 3 rice paper
- 1 avocado
- A. 1 boiled egg
- A. 1 tablespoon Japanese mayonnaise
- A. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 3 leafs of lettuce
- 3 lemon slices
Canadian Bacon, Spring Cabbage, and Shin-tama
- 6 slices Jones Dairy Farm Canadian Bacon
- 3 rice paper
- 2 leafs of spring cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 shin-tamanegi (new harvest onions), thinly sliced
- 1/2 package (15g) daikon radish sprout or any type of sprouts
- 3 shiso leaf
Peanut Sauce
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter (unsweeten)
- 1 tablespoon miso
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seed
- Hot water, to adjust
Vietnamese Dipping Sauce (Nước chấm)
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic, grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 dried red chili, chopped
Spicy Mayo Ketchup Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Japanese mayonnaise
- 1/2 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Hot sauce, to taste
Sauce
- 1For each sauce, mix all ingredients together. For the Vietnamese dipping sauce, heat up in the microwave for 30 seconds to dissolve the honey.
Canadian Bacon, Bean Sprout and Cucumber
- 1Put the bean sprouts in a heatproof bowl and microwave for 3 minutes, drain off the water and coat with sesame oil.
- 2Cut 3 pieces of Canadian Bacon into thin strips and leave the other 3 pieces as they are.
- 3Dip rice paper in water, remove and place on a cutting board. In the center of the rice paper, place bean sprouts, cucumber, carrots, and sliced Canadian bacon. In the further end, place cilantro and the whole slices of Canadian Bacon and roll into a spring roll.
Canadian Bacon, Avocado, Egg and Lemon
- 1Prepare 3 thin slices of avocado and set aside. In a bowl, place remaining avocado and add (A) and mash with a fork.
- 2Dip rice paper in water, remove and place on a cutting board.
- 3Place lettuce in the center and start layering Canadian Bacon, avocado and egg mixture. In the further end, place a slice of lemon, and whole slices of Canadian Bacon and roll into a spring roll.
Canadian Bacon, Spring Cabbage, and Shin-tama
- 1Cut 3 pieces of Canadian bacon into thin strips.
- 2Dip rice paper in water, remove and place on cutting board.
- 3Place cabbage, shin-tamanegi onion, daikon radish sprout and Canadian Bacon in the center. In the further end, place Canadian Bacon and shiso leaves and roll into a spring roll.
