Celebrating chunmacchi’s Grand Prize win at the FPA Professional Food Photography Awards 2025

Jones Dairy Farm is proud to share that chunmacchi, Jones Dairy Farm Japan ambassador and long-time creative collaborator, has received the Grand Prize along with a Gold Award at the Second FPA Professional Food Photography Awards 2025.
This prestigious event is one of Japan’s largest and most influential food photography awards, bringing together exceptional works by photographers from Japan and around the world.

The awards and exhibition are organized by the Japan Professional Food Photographers’ Association, which is dedicated to advancing food photography as an art form that communicates not only taste and technique, but culture, emotion, and story.

For her Grand Prize-winning work, chunmacchi chose to photograph Jones Dairy Farm bacon, a product she truly loves and has worked with extensively through many recipe collaborations over the years. In her award message, she explained that her goal was to express the deep umami, the powerful presence felt with every bite, and the energizing feeling that a satisfying breakfast brings to the start of the day.

Through careful attention to light, composition, and texture, her photograph goes beyond simply showing food. It conveys flavor, warmth, and atmosphere, allowing viewers to almost feel the experience of eating it. This ability to turn food into visual storytelling is exactly what the FPA Awards seek to recognize.
