Free Samples and Meet the Team at the Bacon Festival in Yamanashi Prefecture 2025

Jones Dairy Farm will be attending the Bacon Festival in Yamanashi Prefecture on April 5 – 6, 2025.

Members of the Jones Dairy Farm team will be meeting and greeting festival-goers and serving up free samples of delicious Dry-Aged Bacon.

These, like all of the Jones Dairy Farm products, are available at Costco locations across Japan. Please see a full list of locations here.

Live entertainment, bacon-inspired cuisine from local vendors and a bacon-eating contest are just some of the highlights.

Festival Location:
Assist Engineering Yocchabare Square (アシストエンジニアリング よっちゃばれ広場) in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture.

Festival Hours:
Saturday, April 5: 10:00 – 20:00
Sunday, April 6: 10:00 – 16:00

The Bacon Festival has been an annual tradition for 10 years in the U.S. state of Iowa, where hog farming is thriving. It was founded by fans of Iowa’s bacon.
Its sister city, Yamanashi Prefecture, has been hosting the Bacon Festival since 2017.
